Visit with Santa

• Meet Santa Claus in our beautifully decorated grotto. Each child will receive a special gift and the chance to share their Christmas wishes.

Pantomime - Alice in Scottieland:

• A hilarious Scottish twist on the classic tale, perfect for younger audiences. Packed with laughter, music, and festive cheer – don't miss this magical performance!

Spirit of Christmas Ride:

• Join Holly and her friends on a captivating journey through the story of Christmas on our much-loved indoor Annie McLeod Experience Ride, adapted especially for Christmas

Christmas Movies in the Cinema:

• Enjoy a continuous loop of festive family favourites all day long, perfect for a cosy break between activities.

Soft Play:

• Let little ones explore our indoor soft play area, designed especially for children aged 1 to 8.

Outdoor Fairground Attractions:

• Enjoy vintage-style rides including carousels and more. A festive treat for the whole family! (Fair ground attractions are not included in your Christmas at New Lanark ticket).

Please Note:

• This experience is designed for families with young children and may not be suitable for teenagers.
• The timeslot you selected for your ticket is your scheduled Pantomime time.
• You are welcome to enjoy all other activities included within your ticket at any point during our opening hours between 10am and 5pm Visitors will be required to show proof of tickets. Please have your ticket ready to show on your mobile device or as a printed copy. You do not need to check in at reception on arrival, simply go to the area you wish to visit first and show your ticket to the staff member or volunteer. Please remember the time you have booked is for the Pantomime.
• Prams and buggies should be parked in the buggy park adjacent to the Visitor Attraction reception. Please note that some areas of the site are not suitable for buggies or prams. Items are left at your own discretion.
• Our Mill Café will be open and is expected to be busy throughout the day. We recommend planning mealtimes accordingly. A packed lunchroom will be available for those who wish to bring their own food.
• As an alternative to the Mill Café, our hotel restaurant will also be open serving meals and light snacks. We strongly advise booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

Join us for a specially adapted Quiet Session of New Lanark’s Christmas Experience 2025, taking place on Saturday 29th November from 10:00am to 1:00pm. This session is designed to provide a calmer, more comfortable environment for visitors with sensory needs.

Your Pantomime time is at 11:00am. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. You are welcome to explore the rest of the site between 10:00am and 1:00pm.

During our Quiet Session, visitor numbers will be limited across the site. This helps to reduce noise and create a more relaxed environment. Please note, however, that outdoor areas, the Mill Café, and the gift shop may still be busy and are not guaranteed to be quiet.

If you need a quiet space for lunch or a break, please speak to a member of staff at the Visitor Attraction Reception.

Join us for a special evening of festive fun at New Lanark on Friday 12th December and Friday 19th December 2025.

Our Pantomime & Singalong Event begins at 7.30pm and promises to be a great night out for all the family.

Enjoy our hilarious Scottish twist on the classic tale Alice in Scottieland, then meet the characters afterwards and join in with a lively Christmas singalong.

A tuck shop will be open on the night serving tea, coffee, juice, sweets, and crisps for purchase.
