Christmas at New Lanark 2026 - (Quiet Session)
Join us for a specially adapted Quiet Session of New Lanark’s Christmas Experience 2026, taking place on Saturday 28th November from 10am. This session is designed to provide a calmer, more comfortable environment for visitors with sensory needs.
Your Pantomime time is at 11:00am. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. You are welcome to explore the rest of the site between 10:00am and 1:00pm.

During our Quiet Session, visitor numbers will be limited across the site. This helps to reduce noise and create a more relaxed environment. Please note, however, that outdoor areas, the Mill Café, and the gift shop may still be busy and are not guaranteed to be quiet.
If you need a quiet space for lunch or a break, please speak to a member of staff at the Visitor Attraction Reception.
Visitors will be required to show proof of tickets. Please have your ticket ready on your mobile device or as a printed copy. You do not need to check in at reception — simply proceed to your chosen area and show your ticket to the staff member or volunteer.
Prams and buggies should be parked in the buggy park inside the Visitor Attraction reception. Some areas of the site, including the Pantomime, are not suitable for prams. Items are left at your own discretion.
Our Mill Café is right by the grotto entrance, perfect for a quick festive treat or warm drink. It can be busy at peak times, so takeaway is available to enjoy in our picnic areas or lunchroom. As an alternative to the Mill Café, our Mill One restaurant in the Hotel will also be open serving meals and light snacks. We strongly advise booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
